Overview

Urban Steel has been working with Daracon to rebuild the Guy Fawkes River National Park facilities destroyed in the 2019-20 North Coast Bushfires. The $5 million infrastructure is designed to support the 140,000 visitors per year who travel to experience the magnificent Guy Fawkes River plunging 120 metres over twin waterfalls. The project completed in early 2024 is equipped with cantilevered lookouts over the Guy Fawkes River gorge and, inclusive walking tracks linking the upper and lower falls and new picnic facilities.

Urban Steel’s Role

Urban Steel was involved in the fabrication and installation of steel components used within the park, including elements associated with cantilevered lookouts and supporting structures.

The team worked alongside project partners to ensure all fabricated elements met project and environmental requirements.
