Overview
$235 million re-development of Morisset Golf Course which is to be known as Cedar Mill Lake Macquarie, will become a 30,000-person concert venue with live entertainment and events. The project is set to be completed in 2025. Our team have been working hard on the structural steel for the architectural roof canopy positioned over the stage, which is set to cater for the largest of international tours.
Urban Steel’s Role
The team fabricated and supplied structural steel components required to support the canopy structure. All components were produced to meet project specifications and structural requirements.
Urban Steel worked alongside project partners to ensure the steel elements were suitable for the intended application.
Project Outcome
The completed canopy structure provides a functional feature within the venue, supporting its use for events and performances.
