Our workshop features guillotines for cutting plates up to 10mm thick and 3600mm wide, enabling efficient production runs with fast turnaround. We can fold materials up to 3000mm in length and handle various projects, from stair treads to custom specialty work, always meeting industry standards. Our highly skilled tradespeople can also cater to all your welding requirements, from handrails to larger industrial projects.

Welding & Steel Supply Products

Whether you’re a DIY enthusiast, a metalworker, an engineer or a hobbyist, you’ll find an extensive range of welding and steel supply products to suit all your industrial and creative needs. Our range includes products from leading suppliers including Duralloy, Cigweld, Unimig, Ovesco, Bluescope Steel, Coregas, Hi-Tech Oils, Lincoln Electric and All States Trailer Spares. If we don’t have it in stock, we can place special orders and have the product to you within a couple of days.

TRUCK & Crane HIRE

Urban Steel now offers Truck & Crane Hire across the Newcastle and Central Coast regions. Our UNIC Truck Crane URUC646 and MAEDA MC285C-3 Spider Crane are available for hire and are ideal for a wide range of lifting applications, including tight-access and precision lifts. All hires include a fully qualified driver and crane operator, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation on every job. Our equipment is maintained to the highest standards and operated with a strong focus on safety and reliability.
